About

Just as a cobb of corn has many kernels and a kernel of corn has many layers, such is true for Shaka Lias Cobb. A southern girl at heart with a dash of city flavor is only a portion of what makes up the Clark Atlanta University graduate. Being raised by her late father in the Atlanta area, having a documented passion for the written word and recently becoming a mother are a few of her kernels.
This diva of writing has an eye for a bargain, an unlikely distaste for sweet tea and is never at a loss for words.
Shaka has lots to share of her life journey as a wife,  mother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend who has loved, grieved, triumphed and learned valuable lessons along the way.
Although Mrs. Cobb may be geographically located in the Peach State, her experiences, insight and knowledge are in no way confined. The well rounded, respectfully opinionated newspaper reporter brings to you both fact and personal perspective on many topics ranging from current events, food, politics, entertainment, fashion, relationships and whatever crosses her mind.
Honest, open, and diverse, Shaka invites you to share in on the Pieces of Cobb: Kernels of Wisdom, Truth and Life. Enjoy! Written by: Shakira Webb

  5. Hello Shaka,
I just wanted to say this about Burse Production ” THE LOVE THAT WOKE MY HEART” play in which i portrayed ” Jasmine Turner”. It was my first time acting on stage along side first time actors, we all were strangers one day and now we grew into a family based upon faith hope and positive vibes. Im originally from Puerto Rico but live in Dalton ga. This play has given me the courage to do anything. We all were nervous but god was in control. Kenyatta is the most beautiful women with lots of talent and goals. One of hers came true in bringing it to Dalton. Im blessed and will be always.
